ROLEX
Quick styleframe explorations done in Blender. Not much to say, it’s just fun to make it. A lof of subdivided geometry that overlaps everywhere with ice and glass shaders and a bunch of thin rectangular area lights thrown in the mix. The best part about doing these is the chase for something really abstract. I spend a lot of time just rotating the camera around to find something that looks interesting angle-wise, then I start smacking lights around and move geometry to make it feel enclosed and weird enough.
For work like this I’m not very concerned about things not aligning perfectly, it’s raw real time sketching really, and it’s truly the best way to work for me, as it’s a very fast way to get pretty decent results. No limits, just throw it at the wall and see what sticks!
